Rivendell’s central section is taking shape! The tiling was definitely one of the hardest parts of this assembly, but I also really enjoyed the construction of the pillars in the center, and getting the pictures placed properly on the back of the set.
Ten more bags down, and the central portion of Rivendell is just starting to take shape. I think my favorite element in this batch is the staircase leading to the upper gallery. According to the instructions, it doesn’t need studs because it has a handrail.
Ten more bags of Rivendell complete, and the outside area with gazebo and waterfall is starting to take shape. I particularly love the detail of the waterfall, complete with a mix of white foam bricks and blue solid and translucent water.
