Finshed up a double batch of Iyanden Aeldari troops – a squad each of Guardian Defenders and Storm Guardians. I’m particularly happy with some of the faces on these guys – still honing my skin and eyes skills.

Adding to my Kill Team roster, this group of Eldritch Raider Corsairs goes by “Yriel’s War Dogs”. Each wears the colors of their Craftworld, Masque, or Kabal of origin in addition to their blue and yellow Eldritch Raider garb. I’m particularly happy with the face of the Soul Weaver, the camouflage pattern on the Fate […]
Continuing my open defiance of the box art, I painted these Xiphon Interceptors and Storm Eagle Assault Craft in Ultramarines colors. Coming soon, Happy Monster Joy’s take on Ork Air Waaaaagh units!
The box art for Aeronautica Imperialis: Wrath of Angels from Games Workshop clearly shows Craftworld Saim-Hain colors for the Aeldari fighters and bombers, but I’m stubborn – this squadron is painted in my preferred Iyanden color scheme instead. I had to freehand the symbols on the fighters, but I’m reasonably happy with how they came […]
Finally finished off Nídhöggr, from CMON‘s Blood Rage. I’m particularly happy with the way the tree trunk came out.
I’m very happy with how these came out and looking forward to using them in my first in-person Kill Team game!
These guys took a while because I got a little overloaded with work in progress. They’re not my primary 40K faction – I have them basically as a spare Kill Team for friends.
Lots of painting projects going on, but these three are finished. Iyanden Aeldari Spiritseer and Heavy Weapons Platform (magnetized, and the Guardians are on the way next), and Nídhöggr from Blood Rage, the serpent who gnaws at the roots of the World Tree.
The CMON Blood Rage painting continues with monsters, specifically the Mountain Giantess. My new project is a Games Workshop Warhammer 40K army, specifically an Iyanden Craftworlds force. Here’s the first model, a Wave Serpent. The piping was murder, but I’m pretty happy with it overall, especially the object lighting on the pilot.
The Stag Clan is here! These were tricky, as the sort of butter yellow color of the faction doesn’t lend itself to a lot of clothing options, but I rolled it in where I could. Eyes are an ongoing struggle, but they look better at tabletop distance at least.
